Shirley's entrepreneurial prowess has been most beneficial over the years, both to her and her family, but most importantly to those whom she has been privileged to serve. Her many accomplishments began in Virginia and have carried over to new businesses in South Carolina. Shirley and her family enjoyed a South Carolina summer home from 1968 to 1992 before they made the decision to become a permanent resident of South Carolina in 1992.

Serving others has always been Shirley's strongest desire, and she set out to make a difference when she arrived in South Carolina. After being in business for only one year she was the recipient of the South Carolina Main Street USA Small Business Award in 1993.

From 1993-1997, Shirley served in the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce as Vice President of Educational Affairs and also chaired Conway Leadership. She is also an active member of Conway Main Street USA in Planning and Assisting Main Street activities including Jazz Festivals and Art Festivals.

Among her many talents, Shirley is also an Artist and had published many local Historical prints, including Horry County Court House, Conway City hall, First Baptist Church in 1909 and Twilight Over the Waccamaw.

Shirley's desire to assist people with their needs took another turn in 1993 when she applied for ad received her SC Real estate License. In 1997 she earned her Broker License. Other designations include GRI, SRES, ABR, and Certified Consult of Real Estate.

Shirley does not pursue awards, her satisfaction comes in seeing others achieve their dreams. This became apparent when, unbekown to her, she was voted Best Realtor of the Beach for 2005-2006. Her faith and love for people keep her strong and she is a valuable asset to the community as voiced just recently by a highly prominent figure. If you are looking for good and kind service, give Shirley a call. You'll be happy that you did.
